What this tool is

The UGC Rate Calculator helps a creator estimate what to charge for user-generated content and produce a quote document to send to a brand. It is a calculator, not an agency, a lawyer or an accountant.

The figures are estimates

Every rate, multiplier and negotiating band is an adjustable default assumption, not a market price. Results are for framing your own quote and are not legal, tax or financial advice. You are responsible for the rates you charge and the terms you agree to.

The quote document is a starting point for a conversation. It is not a contract, and generating one creates no agreement between you and a brand, or between you and us.

What you buy

The calculator, the quote document, saved drafts, share links, printing and the watermarked PDF preview are free to use. A one-off purchase removes the watermark from the PDF your browser generates. It is a licence to produce unwatermarked exports from this tool; it is not a subscription and it renews nothing.

The purchase is remembered on the device where it was made. It is not tied to an account, because there are no accounts.

Delivery: [TODO: Digital product delivery policy]

Availability

This tool is provided as-is, without warranty. It may be unavailable, changed or withdrawn. Because your drafts live only in your browser, keep your own copy of anything you rely on — clearing your browser data will remove them permanently.

Acceptable use

Do not use the tool to produce documents you know to be misleading, do not attempt to circumvent the paid export, and do not upload a logo you have no right to use.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability arising from use of this tool is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Refund terms are set out in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Operator and governing law

These terms are offered by [TODO: Legal business name], trading as [TODO: Trading name], of [TODO: Business address].

Contact: [TODO: Support email][TODO: Contact method].

Governing law and jurisdiction: [TODO: Governing law].
